What Brand is Your Favourite Camera?

Inaz is a father, with a Canon Powershot S3IS, aspiring to get to know photography more. He is expecting to acquire a Canon dSLR as he believes he now needs one for certain shots he desires.
Inaz is also an environment and nature lover who believes Climate Change due to Global Warming is the biggest calamity Maldivians and Maldives will face, and soon too (according to his own published work)!
Inaz lives has been living in Nepal for a while and is due back in Maldives by May or end of May 2008.
Interest in photography has been there in Inaz, but he never had money for a camera and always had borrowed. His first (borrowed camera) was a Pentax (film) camera in 1986. He had owned a Canon EOS SLR which now rests with fungus in his shelves, as developing film rolls got beyond his budget could afford. Inaz has been and continues to read and learn on photography, and seeks knowledge from his very good friend and photography mentor Thoha Rasheed.

I don’t see some of my favourites on that list, including Leica M6, Rolleiflex SL66, Rollei XF35, Holga, etc etc.
