Steve Highfield Photography

Steve Highfield is a photographer from Cheshire, UK. On his website he says he has a “passion and fascination for capturing the outdoors”. And how very true that is. His photographs of the outdoors are simply stunning to say the least.

I especially like his night scenes in which every shot looks just perfect. They provide real food for thought for anyone interested in night photography.

For the night photos he says he used the “Canon EOS 5D SLR (full frame) and the trusty Canon EOS 350D. Lens is the Canon 24-105mm ‘L’ series and Sigma 15-30 EX DG Aspherical”.

In some of the photos he also provides the full EXIF data so we hobbyists don’t have to do much guess work at figuring out the camera settings he has used.

Enjoy the photos and if, like me, you’ve found news inspiration for night photography then start posting some photos on your Flickr!

Steve’s updated gallery is here.
